Henry’s Story

Henry Lomheim’s journey began earlier than expected due to complications from his mother’s appendectomy. Born at just 26 weeks and 6 days, he weighed only 2 lbs 7.5 oz. His first 87 days were spent in the St. Cloud Hospital NICU, where he fought to breathe, eat, and grow—one milestone at a time.

Behind Henry’s story are the true heroes: the doctors, nurses, and support staff who cared for him every step of the way. With their expertise, the unwavering support of family and friends, and the prayers of the community, he overcame the challenges of the NICU.

Henry won’t remember the days he spent in the NICU, but he will be reminded of the heroes who never gave up on him.
